Religious Education
The Religious Education course covers the Somerset Agreed Syllabus, Key Stages 2 and 3. We aim to promote "the spiritual, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils, reflecting the fact that the religious traditions in Britain are in the main Christian, whilst taking into account the teachings and practices of other principal religions represented in Britain". The course helps pupils to acquire understanding and insight into religious beliefs, traditions and practices; to explore questions of meaning, purpose and morality and to discuss and reflect upon their own ideas.
